Functions and Roles of the Selangor/Bernam Regional OfficeTo plan, coordinate and manage river basins in an integrated manner (Integrated River Basin Management, IRBM) to ensure the sustainability of the quantity and quality of water resources and ecosystems.To plan, coordinate and manage coastal waters in an integrated manner (Integrated Coastal Management, ICM) to ensure the conservation of water quality and coastal ecosystems.Manage technical review services for development/earthworks activities, land reviews, rock material permits as well as feedback on complaints involving water resources in accordance with the LUAS Enactment 1999.Coordinate and implement immediate action to control water pollution pollution to ensure that water resources are protected and do not affect the operation of the water supply inlet.
