LUAS was also present on 20 January 2024 at the Launching Ceremony of the Community-Based Cyberjaya Lake Ecological Improvement Project at Cyberjaya Lake Garden. The Cyberjaya Lake Ecological Improvement Project is a joint venture of the Sepang Municipal Council with the Global Environment Centre to enhance biodiversity in Cyberjaya Lake Garden.
The presence of YBrs. Ts. Tn. Hj. Hasrolnizam, Director of LUAS together with several officers is a sign of LUAS's support for the efforts undertaken. LUAS strongly encourages and welcomes such projects implemented by, and with the cooperation of various parties regardless of government agencies, private companies, NGOs, or communities/communities.
This is in line with the initiatives being undertaken by LUAS for the state water bodies, especially lakes and ponds, to be potential and preserved through the implementation of various beneficial activities to the people and the state, as well as being able to be used as an alternative.
