COMMITTEE OBJECTIVE

In relation to that, on the responsibility borne by an Alternative Water Resources Task Force Committee was established on 16 September 2005 as an action plan to address the drought season in the State of Selangor. The Alternative Water Resources Task Force Committee is responsible for:

1. Identify ponds, lakes, former mines and also groundwater sources that have the potential to be developed as alternative water sources for water supply.

2. Develop an action plan for the use of alternative water sources.

3. Gazette alternative water sources as protection zones.
